Aloha! My name is Luana and I wanted to start this blog as a way to share what I love most with the world. I am half Hawaiian and have lived in Hawaii all of my life. I have a beautiful daughter, Ilihia, and a wonderful husband, Bryant. The Hawaiian culture has always been a big part of my life whether it was the music, the language, the dance or the food. I've always had a passion for the people of Hawaii and all that we have to offer.
Now that I have a daughter of my own, I realize just how important it is to share the things that I have learned over the years with her. I am a firm believer that if we do not teach our posterity of their past, they will lose their identities and we will lose as a race.
